Marine Coatings
Multicoat is a technological innovator in the protection of marine structures, offering advanced coating solutions for both new construction and maintenance projects in demanding environments worldwide. Our comprehensive product range is fully tested, field-proven, and backed by a team of professionals dedicated to the marine industry, delivering superior protection for critical assets exposed to harsh conditions. The high humidity and salt-laden marine atmosphere are extremely corrosive to steel and other metal surfaces, making reliable protection essential.
Under the SEAMATE range, we provide high-performance coatings that extend service life and repaint intervals, along with a complete system of products for all parts of a vessel—from topsides and hulls to deck systems and internal linings. Our coatings are designed for durability, ease of maintenance, and simple reapplication, ensuring long-term performance and protection in aggressive marine environments.
Under Marine coatings, we have following SeaMate range of products to choose from:
Seamate Xtragard 340
Seamate Xtragard 340 is a one-component, UV-stable anti-corrosion coating designed to provide long-term protection in marine and highly corrosive environments. It can be applied as a direct-to-metal single coat or over suitable primers for enhanced durability. The coating offers superior resistance against seawater, making it ideal for protecting submerged structures, ships, vessels, and offshore assets. It is widely used in marine applications as well as on structural steel and piping exposed to harsh conditions such as bridges, refineries, petrochemical plants, power plants, and industrial infrastructure.
Seamate Epoglide 333
Seamate Epoglide 333 is an advanced, high-solid, high-build epoxy fouling release and anti-corrosion coating designed for the protection of steel and concrete surfaces. It offers excellent abrasion resistance, strong hydrophobic properties, and anti-fouling performance, making it suitable for immersion service in saltwater, potable water, and wastewater environments. The coating is widely used in water treatment plants as well as for underwater hulls in new builds and dry docking applications. It is specially engineered for vessels with short docking intervals and varying operational speeds. With high gloss, superior color stability, and long-term durability, it also ensures excellent aesthetic performance.
Seamate Silgard 350
Seamate Silgard 350 is a two-component silicon hybrid fouling release coating designed to deliver excellent abrasion and scratch resistance along with improved hull performance. It forms an extremely hard, low-friction surface that reduces hull deterioration and speed loss, making it ideal as a finish coat in immersed marine environments. The coating is recommended for underwater hulls in both new construction and dry docking applications. It is specially developed for vessels with short docking intervals and varying speed activities. With high gloss and excellent colour stability, it ensures long-term protection and aesthetic appearance for marine steel structures.
Seamate Multismooth 360
Seamate Multismooth 360 is a one-component hydrolysing resin-based fouling release coating designed to deliver a highly smooth, low-friction surface with excellent hull performance. It provides predictable and stable self-polishing characteristics that protect the hull surface while reducing drag and improving fuel efficiency. The coating ensures reduced speed loss due to its smooth finish, enhancing overall vessel efficiency. It is recommended for underwater hulls in new construction and dry docking applications. Specially developed for vessels with short docking intervals and varying speed operations, it also offers high gloss and excellent colour stability for long-term aesthetic appearance.
